Export AEMT and Paramedic SMC Summary Tracking

EMCE provides separate CoAEMSP AEMT SMC Summary Tracking and CoAEMSP Paramedic SMC Summary Tracking exports. Use these after a cohort has graduated to prepare its Summary Tracking workbook. Use Skill or Patient Evaluations Progress for day-to-day progress monitoring.

Availability depends on the selected US EMS cohort’s certification level and effective evaluation requirements, not its certification label alone.

The reports are for faculty in cohort context. They are not offered in a student’s report menu or while reporting on a required course.

You can customize program minimums and requirement specifications and still use the matching report. However, removing a required source requirement, learning phase, or evaluator role can make an export unavailable. A missing report does not mean the students have zero progress.

If the expected report is missing, check the selected cohort and its requirement configuration. Contact EMCE Support if you need help restoring compatibility; there is no custom SMC mapping editor in EMCE 5.2.0.

  1. Open Reports and select the cohort.
  2. Open the AEMT or Paramedic SMC Summary Tracking report, as appropriate.
  3. Select the students to include and review the report notice.
  4. Use the Excel download action and open the downloaded workbook in your spreadsheet application.
  5. Review the populated Summary Tracking sheet and complete any remaining program or approval fields required for your use of the workbook.

The AEMT workbook supports up to 75 students per export. Use separate student selections if your cohort exceeds that limit.

The report uses the selected cohort’s effective requirements and completion data. There is no switch between default minimums and your cohort’s minimums. The AEMT export uses the 2025 AEMT workbook, and the Paramedic export uses the 2023 Paramedic workbook. Their downloaded filenames identify the report type.

Workbook formulas calculate totals, success rates, and competency outcomes where defined by the template. These calculated cells are distinct from the student counts and program minimums populated by EMCE. Manual approval and action-plan fields remain for your program to complete.

Review the data and workbook before sharing it. For an unexpected count, use the Evaluations Progress reports to inspect the underlying requirements and the evaluations that counted.
