View schedules shared with you

If an education program has invited you as a Schedule Viewer, you can see the schedules it has shared with you. You do not need to claim your hospital or ambulance-service organization to use this access.

Use the public schedule link in your invitation or automated schedule email. You can see scheduled events and attendee information such as organization, role, and certification level, without attendee names.

Select dates to review the events you need. The page loads current schedule information when opened. If you leave it open, refresh it before checking for changes.

Use the sign-in link and sign in or create your EMCE account using the email address that received the invitation. EMCE uses that email to connect you with the invited profile.

If you have more than one profile, select your Schedule Viewer profile for this view. Signed-in viewers can see attendee names on their authorized schedules.

Claiming this viewer profile connects you to your viewing access. It does not make you a Director of the hospital or ambulance service and does not let you create or edit events.

An education program chooses which saved schedules you can view. Those saved schedules filter the events shown to you. A single viewer profile can have access granted by multiple programs, so your calendar may include more than one program’s placements.

If you need a different location or group of students included, ask the education program to review your schedule authorizations and filters.

You may receive two kinds of emails:

  • Schedule-change notifications about assignments, unassignments, event updates, or deletions.
  • Automated schedule digests containing summaries and links to your schedule on a recurring basis.

An email reflects information when it was generated. Open the schedule link for current information; use the sign-in link for attendee names. Recurring digests are not full roster attachments.

After claiming your viewer profile, you manage its notification preferences in EMCE. The program that configured a recurring digest manages that automation separately. Ask that program if you need its delivery schedule changed.

  • No attendee names: use the signed-in schedule rather than the public link.
  • Wrong or missing events: check the dates, refresh the page, and ask the program to review your authorized schedules.
  • Invitation not connected to your account: confirm you signed in with the invited email address.
  • No email: ask the program to check the address, authorizations, and relevant email settings; also check your junk folder.
